What inspired you to start Love Popcorn, and what makes your popcorn stand out from the rest?

Love Popcorn was born from the idea of making popcorn and in particular, gourmet popcorn more accessible and affordable without sacrificing quality. Our popcorn stands out because we’ve managed to strike a balance between premium taste and affordability, offering a wide range of flavours that appeal to all ages.

Can you tell us more about the process of creating your unique flavours?

We experiment with various combinations of sweet and savoury, always ensuring that the flavours complement each other. Our process involves careful testing and tasting, and we always listen to customer feedback to ensure our range is loved by many.

What’s the most popular flavour of Love Popcorn, and do you have a personal favourite?

Besides the traditional flavours like salty sweet leading the way in the snacking range, our Salted Caramel flavour is the most popular gourmet flavour. Personally, I’m a big fan of the Fiery salsa; there’s just something about its unique flavour that sits well with me.

How do you ensure your ingredients are high quality and sustainably sourced?

We take great care in selecting only the finest ingredients from trusted suppliers. We also strive to use sustainable practices wherever possible, from ingredient sourcing to packaging.

Popcorn is often seen as a snack food – do you have any creative ways people can enjoy it beyond snacking?

Popcorn can be used as a topping on ice cream or added to baked goods like cookies for a unique texture. We’ve also seen customers incorporate it into chocolate and fudge bars!

Can you share any behind-the-scenes insights into the process of making Love Popcorn?

Our production process combines traditional popcorn-making methods with modern technology to ensure consistency and quality. We’ve recently invested in new machinery to help with this, which has drastically reduced costs without compromising on quality.

Have you ever experimented with an unusual popcorn flavour that surprised you with its success?

Yes! With a large demand for own label popcorn and with it, lots of new flavours to trial. I have recently developed a chilli and lemon flavour, it turned out to be quite popular with our customers.

What role does sustainability play in your packaging and production process?

Sustainability is important to us. We’ve made efforts to reduce our carbon footprint by minimizing waste in our production process, and we’re working towards more eco-friendly packaging solutions.

If you could collaborate with any other brand to create a unique popcorn flavour, who would it be and why?

I would love to collaborate with a local craft beer brand to create a savoury popcorn that pairs well with different beer styles. It would be a fun and unique combination that celebrates the local food and drink scene.

What’s your favourite thing about the local area, and how does it inspire your flavour choices?

I love the community spirit and support for local businesses in our area. This inspires us to create flavours that evoke comfort and nostalgia, like our traditional Toffee and Sweet & Salty popcorn.
