Nestle down in a waterside lodge.
Kingfisher and Sandpiper are Nest’s spacious waterside lodges, with plush interiors, impressive views of Red Hurworth Burn reservoir, and outdoor hot tubs. They look onto the reservoir and are set away from each other for peace and privacy.
Both have surround sound systems, suspended log burners (great for cosy nights) and underfloor heating (perfect for a movie night marathon).
Open plan living areas have large L-shaped sofas for relaxing and taking in the views, a table, chairs and a kitchen area for cooking. All Nests are self-catered. There’s a wooden decking area at the front of each lodge, with chairs and a hot tub so you can perch here and take in the tranquil views.
Kingfisher is the only dog-friendly Nest, so you can book to stay here and bring your four-pawed friend. Claire, the owner, has even created a surprise box of dog treats so they feel as welcome as you.
Both Kingfisher and Sandpiper are single-storey lodges.
Perch up in an elevated treehouse.
For guests who want to fly high, Nuthatch and Wren are the perfect places to perch! The quirky, wooden treehouses are set up high, with steps leading to them and views over the fields and ponds. Both have a private balcony with outdoor hot tubs so you can relax here and take in the spectacular views.
Interiors are modern and glamorous, with palettes inspired by the birds they’re named after. Nuthatch has deep blue, greens, peach and rusty oranges, while Wren is decorated with shimmery greys and darker blues. Both have super-king beds and a sofa, providing secluded luxury. They also have sophisticated showers with Lusso Fittings.
Nuthatch and Wren also have renewable energy, hot tubs, outdoor seating, surround sound, and underfloor heating.
The treehouses are not dog-friendly.
